Cup Museum

The Cup Museum

The world's first and only professional museum with the theme of cups

As the world's first thematic museum dedicated to the civilization of cups and vessels, our museum takes "cups"—the most everyday utensils—as a clue to systematically sort out the development context of human drinking civilization spanning ten thousand years, and construct a global narrative that transcends time and space. The collection, ranging from clay to crystal, from ritual vessels to daily-use items, presents a panoramic view of the explorations of different cultures in practicality, aesthetics, and technology. We aim to present a three-dimensional brief history of global material civilization and inspire sustainable thinking about current lifestyles.

Founder's Message:

We have always believed that artifacts are the most humble yet honest narrators of civilization.

The birth of this museum stems from a systematic collection effort spanning several decades. It began with a simple passion for the beauty of artifacts and gradually evolved into a clear cultural responsibility. We realized that what is truly precious is not the collection itself, but how to enable the wisdom embodied in these creations, which have transcended time and space, to once again engage in a profound dialogue with people today.

Here, every exhibit is not merely an "object" to be viewed, but a readable chapter of civilization. They come from different lands, eras, and craftsmanship traditions, yet together they tell the story of how humanity, through its hands, transforms clay, ore, and fire into emotions, rituals, and life.

We built this place not to showcase possession, but to inspire ongoing inquiry and enlightenment. May each of you who step into this space, in the moment of bending down to gaze, hear the whispers from the depths of the artifacts, feel the warmth of life from another time and space, and find within them the creative inspiration and inner peace belonging to this era.

This museum is a public memory we entrust to time, as well as a continuously open invitation. We look forward to meeting you here and together continuing the unfinished stories of these artifacts.
